RESOURCE MINISTRY DONATIONS

Our Resource Ministry involves some wonderful donations which are given to us and we in turn pass them on to the various schools and mission efforts we assist in Southeast Kentucky and Northeast Tennessee. We have developed some great friendships with people and companies who believe in our rural Appalachian ministry. We have been blessed to receive various items from time to time that we could never afford to purchase.

Listed below are some of the items we receive from time to time:

• New furniture

• Used furniture

• Wood stoves

• New and used clothing

• Appliances

• Various household items

• Non-perishable food items

• Hygiene items

• School supplies

• Fabric, thread, and sewing materials

• New and used building supplies

• Various other items that must be in usable condition

• First Baptist Concord - Consignment Sale donations

• First Baptist Concord Music Ministry - 6 Pianos

• First Baptist Lenoir City - Consignment Sale donations

• First Baptist Maryville - Consignment Sale donations

• Floyd & Geneva Somerville, Springfield, TN - Ongoing collections of food, new and used items from their Senior's Group, Church and Friends

• Food City, Pepsi & Their Customers - Holiday Promotion/Customer Purchase Rebate on Pepsi products netting $10,000 donation to MOH. (Perhaps your company could help in a similar way with partial proceeds of sales going to MOH>)

• Food City - Used commercial shelving and fixtures

• Habitat for Humanity Store, Lenoir City - Used clothing, toys and household items donated weekly

• Jewelry Television and Bob and Vicki Hall – Financial donations for the purchase of Bibles and much needed Christian Resource items

• KARM - Used clothing, coats and misc. items

• Knoxville Boat Club - Used tables and chairs

• Knoxville Wholesale Furniture - New Furniture for "Tyler's Home"

• Lexington Christian Academy – Truck load of brand new toys and blue jeans

• Lighthouse Mission Center (Pineville, KY) - Use of their refrigerated truck and/or driver in picking up frozen foods and meats 

• Lost Sheep Ministry - Blankets

• Montgomery Cove Homeowners Association - Neighborhood Sale donations

• Once Upon A Child/Plato's Closet & Their Patrons - New and used baby, children's and teenage items donated weekly

• Parkwest Gynecological Offices - Medical and office equipment

• Tennessee Smokies Baseball – Free Game Tickets for ministry children

• The Mattress Outlet - New mattress sets

• US Forest Service - Used furniture, computer and office equipment

• UT Vols Baseball Team & Athletic Department - Promotional game with food collection and free tickets for ministry children

• Wampler's/Family Brands - Frozen foods and meat products

• Wyndham (Fairfield) Vacation Resorts - Used mattress sets (approximately 900) and linens

God Bless each of you who serve day in and day out to answer the phones; help in the office; pick up, deliver, drive, load and unload the trucks; work in the warehouse and all the other areas - YOU are the heart, soul, hands and feet of Mission of Hope.  Without YOU Mission of Hope could not do what we do to help our neighbors in Appalachia.
