RESOURCE MINISTRY DONATIONS

Our Resource Ministry involves some wonderful donations which are given to us and we in turn pass them on to the various schools and mission efforts we assist in Southeast Kentucky and Northeast Tennessee. We have developed some great friendships with people and companies who believe in our rural Appalachian ministry. We have been blessed to receive various items from time to time that we could never afford to purchase.

Listed below are some of the items we receive from time to time:

• New furniture

• Used furniture

• Wood stoves

• New and used clothing

• Appliances

• Various household items

• Non-perishable food items

• Hygiene items

• School supplies

• Fabric, thread, and sewing materials

• New and used building supplies

• Various other items that must be in usable condition

GRANTS TO HOME FOR THE HOPE

We were recently blessed to receive two Grants that will be used to help pay for some of the renovations/ repairs we have incurred; on our wonderful Home For The Hope (our Warehouse & Office).

A special Thank You to Choice Data & the East Tennessee Foundation, as well as to the Cornerstone Foundation; for deeming us worthy of their support. I also want to thank our dear friend Jerry Daves, for his assistance with obtaining these Grants and to Rita Layman, who helps us write Grants at the MOH.

FOOD DRIVE

What a blessed response we have received from our recent Food Purchase assistance appeal.

You may recall, it started with a Food Drive by the Junior League at their recent Bag-a-bargain Event; promoted by a WNOX Radio live remote. The Food request needs coming in to the MOH Office; are heart breaking. We had a great response and some financial Donations which we used to purchase over $5,000 of Food at Food City, with their assistance. Well, we have now received all of the Donation checks and they completely covered the entire Food purchase expense.
