Once again, Mission of Hope has received a heartwarming donation from Amy Crawford and her 7th grade students at Montgomery Ridge Intermediate School.

Each year as part of the MISSION: UNSTOPPABLE Class Project, students earn money to purchase toy kits and then they build the toys themselves to donate to Mission of Hope.

Working in groups, each student first sets a goal for the amount they would raise.  Students had to earn the money, and each group had to buy at least one item with some assembly required. Students earned the money in various and creative ways such as doing extra chores, learning new recipes and baking treats to sell, and constructing and selling bird houses to name a few!

Mrs. Crawford’s students earned over $11,000! Today, the students helped load our MOH truck with dollhouses, kitchen sets, ride on toys, race car playsets, art supplies, dolls, sports balls, and board games! These toys will be given to the children we serve across the rural Appalachian areas of Tennessee and Kentucky for Christmas.

Thank you, Amy and students!! Your generosity will be a blessing to the families we serve.
