Greetings Dear Mission of hope Friends;

Please enjoy this extremely special Hope Academy update. A special thank you to Ginger Forbes and her entire Christ Covenant P.C. Mission Team and to Donna Helton and her entire Black Mountain, KY Elementary School Team. I also want to thank dear MOH Friends Jack & Ann Salyer from Lexington, KY who came to learn how they could do this with their Church Team at NorthEast Christian Church along with Phil Peek who assisted me with the MOH trucks deliveries of God\’s Harvest.

Thank you Lord for the opportunity and privilege to be your servants and vessels of Hope.

Sincerest Regards;

\"MOHAt 9 am on Friday, June 7th, two large Mission of Hope trucks backed up to the gym door of Black Mountain School to begin unloading items for the Hope Store. All of the Hope Academy Team worked diligently to unload the trucks filled with brand new sofas, five refrigerators, five brand new air conditioners, five stoves, four new mattresses, chairs, lamps, two new dining tables and chairs, along with many other beautiful donated items.

As the items were grouped, the ladies began to accessorize under the direction of Susan Fleenor, expert in accessories!! She had all the groupings looking beautiful and looking like something in a magazine!

At no\"MOHon, the families with numbers 1-5 were allowed in the gym for 10 minutes to select their large group item. They also selected three items from the kitchen, bath, bedroom and outdoor areas. The guys on the team (John Brackin, Nance Ericson, Ed Lindler, Mike Fleenor and Terry Futrell) worked especially hard in lifting and carrying the larger items for the Hope Store families. Every ten minutes another group entered the store to make their selections. There was a total of forty family units that came through the store. Amazingly, the gym was cleared by 2pm!

There are so many precious stories from the families we served this week. Our prayer each day was for all of the team to be used by God to extend the Hope of Jesus to everyone we met. Thanks so much to all of you that donated to the Hope Store and thanks so much for your prayers!

Please continue to lift up the families and staff of Black Mountain Elementary School in Harlan Kentucky. The loss of jobs is affecting every family in the area.

Join us on August 9th as we travel back to the school for the Back to School backpack trip. We travel on a coach bus, up and back on the same day to deliver school supplies and backpacks to the students. Sign ups will be in the bulletin beginning in July. Help us to continue to extend the Hope to the families of Black Mountain Elementary School!

In His Service,
Ginger Forbes and the Hope Academy Team
