It’s Almost Here!
This year is quickly passing by and our calendars are filling up very fast as fall and the holidays approach. Our Mission of Hope Celebration & Fundraiser Team has asked me to share with you some very special news. Plans are being finalized for this year’s upcoming event, “HOPE – The Greatest Gift”.
Mark your calendar now for Mission of Hope’s 2014 Celebration & Fundraiser Event on Thursday, November 6th and plan to join us at Rothchild Conference Center for an evening of great shopping, delicious food, good fellowship, inspiration from our Faces of Hope, and entertainment with special music by Ms. Janelle Arthur. There will be lots of surprises and special guests.
A special and fun filled part of this evening is bidding on our Silent Auction that showcases themed baskets and other items. We welcome donations of gift baskets, sports, concert or theater tickets, vacation rentals, or other goods and services for the auction. Please contact the MOH office at 865-584-7571 if you, your family, business, Sunday School class, civic or work group, Bible Study group or others would like to donate or be involved. Our Celebration Team will be happy to help you choose a theme or help you put your baskets or donations together.
New this year is The Hope Gift Shop & Boutique which will offer cash and carry shopping featuring arts and crafts items including photography, artwork, quilting and other needlework, pottery, woodworking, carving and more. If you have a talent in any of these areas and would like to donate an item, please call the MOH office at 865-584-7571.
We’re excited about our upcoming celebration and look forward to seeing you there as together we share “HOPE – The Greatest Gift”.
