Our annual Christmas Collection to Bring Hope to those we serve in Rural Appalachia is well underway. We’re relying heavily on online shopping, our Cyber Barrel Campaign, to get most of the items we need for Christmas. However, if you are not an online shopper there are definitely other ways you can help. Click on the video to learn more.

One way you can help is by purchasing items or organizing a collection with your church, civic group or coworkers and bringing those items to the Mission of Hope warehouse. Give us a call at 865-584-7571 and let us know you’re coming. We’ll be sure to have volunteers here to welcome you and help unload.

The items we need include:
Non-perishable food, like canned fruit, vegetables, soup, and meats. Crackers, cereal, rice, and pasta. No glass containers please.
New clothing (please leave the tags on) including coats, jeans, shirts, and underwear. The children we serve come in all sizes so we can use adult and children’s sizes.
New, unwrapped toys for students in PreK – 8th grade – suggested value $15.

Another way you can help is by making a donation and we’ll do the shopping.
$10 will buy a pair of jeans for a student
$25 will supply a warm winter coat
$30 will bless a family with a food box

You can donate online at https://missionofhope1.wpengine.com/secure-online-donation/, call us with credit card information at 865-584-7571, or mail a check to PO Box 51824, Knoxville, TN 37950.

And last but certainly not least, you can help by praying for those we serve, our volunteers, and our staff.

Thank You for Helping Us Extend The HOPE!
