Greetings, Dear Mission Of Hope Friends;

I am so glad to inform you that we have been very blessed here at The Hope to be able reach out and serve many Communities which were recently devastated by very powerful and destructive storms. And it has been much needed and greatly appreciated by those we have been privileged to assist.

We recently received a tractor trailer load of donations given to the MOH, consisting of: Food, Blankets, Hygiene, Cleaning Supplies, Water, Portable Potty\’s, and various Other Items which were designated for Disaster Impacted Communities.  We took these along with new & used furniture items we already had and some building materials to numerous communities in both Tennessee and Kentucky.  We worked thru several of the Mountain Ministry Centers we serve; which were nearest to these storm affected area\’s.  We also sent Bibles & Tracts for the Ministry Centers to have to give out as well.

A special Thank You goes out to Shirley Plant & Diane Webster at the MOH Office, along with numerous Mission Of Hope Volunteer Hero\’s for their time, hard work, travel, dedication, and compassion hearts.  It has been a true blessing to see how God worked in a very timely manner to provide Harvest which we could take and get to those who were so devastated and who have been so broken hearted and broken spirited. Many we have served have lost everything they owned. And some lost precious members of their family and close friends and neighbors.  We feel very grateful that we have been able to help in the way we have.

Please continue to uplift in prayer all of these communities and those who are struggling there for some sense of relief and Hope.  We are truly grateful for your friendship and support.

Sincerest Regards;
Emmette Thompson, Executive Director – Mission of Hope
